List Lust: Holiday Edition

It's a festivus miracle! A blog post in december! And my, has it been a bit... well, more than a bit an AGE. But now is the time when wishes come true... and when wishes are made, of course.

So here are some of mine.

Since summer I have been dreaming about adding a kiss of color to the underside of my locks in a shade quite like this. Now that it is dark and cold and my tendrils are no longer quite so sun bleached and bright it seems the right time to jazz up the dark side.

Achieved best, I imagine, with the help of a professional (if you have a great colorist please sign me up) or for dramatic effect attempted with this classic:

I may have told you that there is no more room in my life for outerwear. Because there isn't. Or my apartment's floor will collapse.

Which is why I am thinking of hanging this coat just outside my front door. It's the same shape as the one I have from last season and is to be adored.

It seems that said coat would enjoy the addition of some cozy leg covers, as it does only hit around the knee, which is where these serious socks come into play. I think I'd use the the blue ones most?

As far as my feet are concerned these brogue hybrids are going to be a highlight of our spring. Part of the shoe collection I worked on with Samantha Pleet + Osborn for 2011, they are Osborn's first sandal. Here they feature a japanese linen dot. And they're dope.

And while we're at it, I wouldn't say no to these items from her collection either.

Speaking of the handsome Andrew De Francesco, I'd been mourning the failed purchase of this ring (second down), which we thought would be such a tops wedding band when we found it, since it was bought out from under me last May.

Recently however, we had the terrific fortune of finding it's buyer and re-creator in the amazing Caitlin Mociun--who wisely freaks for Erie Basin as much as I do and who customizes things brilliantly.

Oh and I do desire these earrings as well.

Another wish which I'd like to put out in the universe is that the wise, warm, funny, beautiful, other worldly, generous, and generally sensational Chrissie Abbott comes to visit us in New York more often. Or that I get unlimited airline travel to London to see her and the rest of our favourites there. Should those prove too difficult I will happily take some of her tremendous work to hang on our walls for the time being.

Oh and I would really like a dog.

Since ADF will murder you if you make this dream come true, I suggest donating some dollars to the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons. Much less of a commitment and far less life endangering than if you were to bring me my dream dog, seen below.

I also wish for world peace.
And for all of my favourites to have a radical holiday season and a super fullfilling and successful new year.

Oh and I wish for all of your wishes to come true too.

xok
